Still, if like me, you love Godzilla or Gamera, you'll not be disappointed that there is another creature out there stomping about.Īs a big fan of giant monster movies, I read this out of curiosity. Whilst I like silly big monster movies, this felt too silly at times, when they could have added more drama to make the comedy really pay off. Unfortunately it has a big swastika stuck on the side of it, and the people no longer know who is there to kill them and who is there to save them. ![]() Cue the opportunity for the army to roll out a giant robot to halt his progress. Now, a frenzied monster, making his way back home, he is just simply pissed off. Of course it is never that simple, the main protagonist is an emotional wreck because before the mission into space he found out his wife was cheating on him. He plummets to earth, now seemingly some crazed huge monster that feeds on just about everything, whilst destroying all in its path. An astronaut is heading home when something engulfs his ship. ![]() ![]() Here he tackles 'kaiju' or as the title of the book simply puts it, a giant monster. Steve Niles is a great author, and for my money with '30 Days of Night' the only person in recent history to have something original to bring to stories of vampires. ![]()
